The Relationship Between Inner Speech and Rumination

I think there's much more to do to ask, you know, in the clinical literature, are these ruminations happening in language? If so, you've got a whole way into understanding how they're working and why they may be so persistent. So this could probably open some new pathways into treating mental disorders or at least some symptoms of mental disorders. It hasn't been a major focus for me, but I think it's wide open for people to come along and explore that connection. But just to be sure that I understood it correctly, those these two different areas of study, inner speech on the one hand and rumination on the other have not intersected a lot yet. Right
