The Internet Is Not Built for Moderation

During COVID especially like my internet time is like eight hours of fucking day because I'm just like scrolling through my phone and it's sedating all day. Like the way that the algorithms are designed for all social media is to make you spend as much of your time as possible on it. It's fundamentally being in another moment, wishing you were somewhere else, thinking about something else. And people aren't even trying to sell you something they're trying to buy your attention.
