The Story of Consciousness
consciousness is a story of sort of having a single thread of experience. We don't have sor of this experience as if we ere all these separate atoms of space. And it's not obvious that we can form a consistent view of what' ing in the world, he says. The true story of biology is likely to be something which has many different things happening kind of in parallel. It's building up this graft of of interactions that somehow achieves the purposes it needs to achievea but it does it in a way that it's actually fairly hard for us to understand.
