Building New Institutions That Can Last a Long Time
In nature, we see this all the time. We're going to have a limiting factors of resources and things like that that are going to start to bring population down. So how can we build new institutions and organizations that are just as good at living in a world of less people? And so when you look at these small hotels or breweries, or even smaller commodity companies, they've already survived famines and volcanic eruptions. They've found a way to survive those. What's also important is to kind of understand culture and value systems.
