A Parenting Practice That I Adopted When I Was Pregnant
When i was pregnant with johanna, my second child, noah, my oldest, turned too. Noah was the fastest toddler i had ever seen before or since. He had one mission to go the exact opposite direction I was going in. So my life was spent chasing him and scooping him up in my arms. And yet i became persuaded of the value of this practice because, like many parents before me, i was desperate. It even went against everything i thought i believed about parenting.
