Hegel thinks that freedom should be understood more like a fit, because of the subject and the object. The problem is how you can reconcile what is depatory and exciting about this idea of freedom with all sorts of other things we need such as fulfillment in our daily lives. We don't just have a negative relation towards them. It's not a question of telling you what to do. It's a question of mediating between the various conflicting parts.
