Darrow is able to think tactically and to do that kind of thing. But he also has like brute strength in his corner that he can and does fall back on. Severo's thing is, he's very much a, like if you're doing D&D classes much more of a rogue sort of character. And I think those are some of the more effective relationships in the book because they make Darrow reconsider his place in this society.

This week we take a bloodydamn dive into the depths of a society living on a terraformed Mars hundreds of years into our future. The humans of this alternate reality are, get this, enforcing a rigid caste system that benefits a privileged few, and it's our meathead hero's job to infiltrate that society and take it down from the inside.
