The Role of Modernism in the History of Modern Architecture
The Museum of Modern Art embraces a version of modernism that strips away all this radical history. It becomes in some sense a sort of stand in to the power of transnational capital and the projection of power of US government. But it's not only within the frames of, you know, the grand frames of politics, right? The social upheavals are occurring in the United States. I'm a serious social upheaval that are happening in the U.S., too.
