My dad grew up in spain. He fled when the fachis came in. The way they came in, and i'm saying this in preparation for some comments on the last year, political year in this country. So you canallt the rhetoric that franco used to legitimatize himself. You can find that rhetoric on the extreme right, like you can find really extreme communist socialist rhetoric on theextreme left. And what i would say is that neither is american rightand in the sense that we understand that word as a representative democracy where every vote counts. But the to the extent ttare an idea with a lot of people that that break a lot of things.
