The Lamb on the Throne

Revelation 7, 17: The lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd and he will guide them to springs of living water. This is not talking about a great heavenly sheep. In most cultures, they would talk about the shepherd sitting on the throne. Jesus takes this one step farther and he becomes the lamb of God who was crucified or who was slain for the sins of the world.
