The People's Choice Project

Russian artists created the People's Choice Project to find out what elements would make up America's most wanted painting. 1001 ordinary Americans were asked a bunch of questions about paintings and the results are fascinating. And people in just about every country polled from China and Kenya to Iceland and the Ukraine seem to all want the same inoffensive sort of painting. A quaint, kind of boring waterfront scene with lots of blue.
