The Appeal of Physicalism
A lot of people are not physicalists, particularly because they tend to be attracted to this other idea that I think often pushes people towards dualism. That is the idea that there's a subjective aspect to our existence that can't be reduced to or explained in terms of any purely objective description. And it looks like I could study their brain and map their behavioral disposition as much as I want without ever finding out what does the color look like?
