The Importance of Communication in Leadership

Kerry Nelson: I think my view of leadership has had to evolve. She says the real superpower as a leader is when you can take "the raw material of humanity" that walks in your front door and develop it into an organization's future leaders. The key, she says, is being able to coach the leaders on your team. And so now I see myself with my kids, Megan, if you can tell me what was right or not, I'd like to think that I'm more of a trusted advisor and friend and mentor than anything else.
