And this points us towards even more grim reality of ancient life, that being the sacrifice of humans. At first glance, the enterage of humans may have willingly poisoned themselves. However, closer examinations of the bodies indicate that some of them may have been struck about the head to incapacitate them. Either way, these sacrifices must have been seen as a necessity and the fear of not sacrificing
