In our more senior level residence, the feedback is more about the nuance of emergency medicine. We arbitrarily assign a graduated responsibility to these people based on their training level. I've taken the approach of trying to be a little more personalized in my interaction with residents and trainees. It's rolled up in the same idea, but we kind of pick arbitrary levels for people.
