The Future of Plastic Recycling

The more we separate things, these are is to recycle. But also they often aren't going to do what we wanted them to do in the first place. The thing I would most hope for is that we ban export of plastic waste. It's valuable material. So by exporting it abroad, we're basically admitting we just don't know its value. And we're basically giving it to other people. Often it gets burnt. Many end up in lower middle income countries and it harms their environment.
