Art Is a Second Order Form of Making
Not all physical expression is art or making. Some of it is also simply doing which is subject to the act of art to ugly behavior ruled by morality and ethical convictions. This is not just another kind of making besides that of fine arts as we call them. Rather it is a making that is a necessary precondition for the making of the fine arts. The Greeks call both the making of tools or technology and the making of art by the same term technique.
