Is There a Real Transformation in the Racial Structure?
The belief that a society without racial hierarchy could exist is anathema for those who work with and within a structural acism framework. In terms of variation in views within this camp, i would say most probably would hold to the view that through challenges, and through activist challenges, the racial structure can become less hierarchical. Sure, might not get to the promised land a but society can be improved. 'm so on this view that the prospects for even real change, much less a utopian transformation, are dim.
