The white house and Harvard medical school made the same mistakes. They used different metrics to compare flue with covid, which is a completely different disease. The c d c specifically says that the number of certificates that have flue listed on them is a significant undercount. There's no good reason why you should compare two numbers that aren't based on the same thing. And so that really makes it impossible to believe that it was an innocent mistake. It doesn't seem merited.
