Chan Du Juan's Military Regime Promoted Distractions

In may 19 80, the people of gwangju took to the streets to demand the end of martial law and protest chandu juan. The military entered the city and attacked and killed their own people claiming they were north krean influence communists. After nearly ten days, the siege came to an end. Chan du juan and his military regime had won. Once in power, chan du juan's government started promoting distractions. He wants to encourage the students to engage in more entertainment, rather than protest.
