When i was an undergraduate er, abduction had seemed so, so natural to me andand obvius. And then there were these arguments, which i read actually, right when i started as as a graduate student inin 93. That was bossof harsons morton symetry. I found that fascinating. From from the stars, on the one and a rule, seemed very natural. But at least it seemed to me that very often i relied on these explanatory considerations that i took into account where something asa good explanationthat influenced me in forming my beliefs. So this view was not compatible with any interesting version ofe of abduction.
