The Nationalists' Views of Women's Militancy
On the nationalist side, I know you mentioned that they were not the biggest fans of what was happening. They were more traditional in their views of gender roles. So what did they have to say about these women who went to the front? How were they portrayed within the nationalist areas? Yeah, so as I said earlier, overwhelmingly negative. But also sexualized and there's heavy rumours going on of prostitution.
