The Mexican Church and the American Church in Mexico
Churches have a lot less power in Mexico overall you know I think laws are and probably the LDS church has some to something to do with it but back then when the Mexico City Temple was built. They had to get a presidential amendment in order for the temple to be closed only to people with a recommend which kind of blows my mind that a Mormon church could still have so much power in a country like MexicoGiven their history of kind of secularizing in kind of really inspirational and courageous ways you would think that would mute the influence of an American church, he says.
