Women's Health - The Yellow Wall
In the mid nineteenth century, male physicians started to step into the picture of women's health. This was something that many women were asking for; they perceived it would be safer if a physician was in attendance. The moment that male physician sort of entered the realm of women'shealth, that's a point in which women started to lose their voice in their decision making process. Even up in today, we have lots of studies about physicians not believing black women and their paint rety. So, so, long story short, i think that throughout history, women like doctor northrop have been responding to issues of trust that women have had in the medical community.
