Introduction
Rites: I've got far too many things to say in the time available. We're going to begin by looking at divine incomprehensibility in arianism. The pronicene theologians were seeking to defend the Nicene creed of 325 and then 381. They claimed to be able to see more in God's life than their opponents. And seeing why they did and how they did, well, I hope, help us to see how we can deploy human reason in the service of Scripture.
