Is Mental Illness a Threat?

CNN.com's John Sutter talks to a group of students about their experiences with racism and anti-racism in the U.S. He says it is not mental illness that causes people to be offended by these incidents, but rather threats they receive from others. The men who perpetrate such acts should look for safe spaces after being threatened, he argues. But if there was a pill or gas we could just pump into heavily resised areas where all races stopped working, Mr Sutter asks.
