The Overton Window Is Shifting

Could it set precedence not just for future vaccines, but also for things like antivirals that might be needed? That's happening domestically just this week in the US. And I think the same is true now in geopolitically. The pharmaceutical industry has very successfully for decades said, if you touch our patent protections, our intellectual property protections, the whole innovation system will collapse. They have held a hard line and everybody has coward in response. But over the last 25 years or so there's been this sort of increased scratching at the door, banging the door attempts to pry the door open.
