Is There a Silver Bullet in Aviation?
A new report by the World Resources Institute says we need to use half of all UK farmland to make enough biofuel. We also need double the amount of renewable electricity that we already have to make enough hydrogen fuel, according to the study. The only solution is fewer planes in the sky and a balance between emissions produced and those being taken away - there is no magic wand as much as we'd like there to be.
