The Right Thing to Do Isn't Going to Change Their Minds

I do not know what getting caught trying on this, doing another month of this, and having them stand in the way of us actually protecting the right to vote. I don't know how it does anything to advance those three goals. And so it's more of a persuasion play than anything else. Better than nothing, maybe. But where we were at the the beginning of the bid administration ten years ago, i was we said, hey, look, there's all these points. There's all these moments that are going to come. They're gong to show how bad the filibuster is. Here they come, and we have just barrelled right through every single one of them.
