In those times, modernism was basically the only thing that was... Yeah. The big question mark in our profession, of course, was urban renewal. Lots of friend of ours from the university practiced in Amsterdam and Rotterdam at the city. And what they strived for was complete rubbish because they wanted to make modern buildings out of existing 19th century streets. But if you do so, it's still a box with vertical windows. It's neither real modernism nor is it traditional. No. You end up with a lot of rubbish and plastic.
