How to Believe in God Without Relying on Divine Revelation or Any Other Authority
Christians say that we can't experience God by means of our natural powers because God transcends our powers. But in a much more radical way, therefore if people can experience God, it's probably because God himself has intervened to make this possible. He used to make his presence available to us. Now then, whether this can happen and what to make of it when it does is an important question but it falls outside the scope of this lecture.
