The God of the Old Testament Is a Warrior
The focus of this section is to describe Jehovah, the God of the Old Testament as a warrior. The words that are used here in Hebrew are interesting. This divine warrior imagery is present in other texts. We've already talked about Exodus 15, Deuteronomy 33, judges four and five. Jesus is presented as a warrior who's ready to fight for his people. And there seems to be a message of hope before the destruction of thieves.
