The Importance of Mental Models in Cultural Folklore
There are mental models that's easier said than done but what do those new sort of mental models look like. What kind of things can people adopt in their head that sort of breaks free of the domus mindset whether you know you have it or not. One model that I think is helpful and that actually has been written is by my good friend Aaron Ross Powell, who has written an essay about the need for sympathetic joy. We're going to end up with lots and lots of different kinds of life. And we don't have to be harmonious or in lockstep with them to do that.
