The cost of producing an episode, on average, has risen by 50% in the last 10 years. Writer pay during that same 10 years has dropped by 24%. So why does television cost so much more? The migration of $50 trillion in wealth from the bottom 90% of Americans to the top 1% of Americans is where it gets us. Everybody wants someone else to pay for that experiential training. These many rooms are not effective in controlling costs," he says.
