CBDCs - Central Bank Liability in a CBDC World?

In Japan, if you happen to be very rich, you might have a thousand yen in your pocket. You can't track where that expression of central bank liability is and who it's being held by. And what imagine if this retail CBDC started to basically replace? Maybe the bank money that is being created into the economy by the commercial banks or at least significantly displace that bank money.
