The Contentment of Godliness Is a Great Thing
The person who is driven by pride will always have a tendency towards division and a des ire for wealth and status that makes him a source of conflict. If the faithful teacher wants to avoid being led astray in such a manner, he needs to master his own heart. Paul reminds timothy that we will bring nothing out of the world, just as we brought nothing into it. Job expresses some of the contentment that can come with godliness in chapter one, verse 21 of his book.
