A Sock Blanket Made Out of Socks
Lucy Edwards' husband inherited a blanket made out of socks. The family lived near a canadian airfield, and that's how we inherited it. I thought it was quite shabby, and i was trying to get him to recycle it. But friends said take it to the imperial war museum - they were interested. It's now part of their permanent collection. Patrick bhut therre are different scales of value. And i think it's a lovely story when you have something that, even if you don't want to necessarily make money out of it,. That actually there are all these museums and institutions that are always looking for unusual objects to to aud to.
