"I'm looking peep for people that have evidence of comfort with change," he says. "So I want to hear how does this person talk about, are they running to solution or can they sit in problem land and really tell great stories?" He asks before a call: Is this the same leadership team for the last 20 years? What else might be going on from a research standpoint that you can pick up? And then so I hypothesize based on what I've seen in other deals, who else might I get involved?".
