The Future of Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease
The trial is complete and the data, Medtronic are hoping to send the data to the FDA at the end of this year. And then we don't know how long it'll take before it's approved. We're working with one of the other companies Boston Scientific to do a new forms of deep brain stimulation. Currently, this will be open loop, but they're going to use different patterns of stimulation. So I think we've talked about sensing and using the brain signals to help us provide better treatment.
