The Cost of Maintaining a Facade of Normalcy

I think a really hard thing for lots of adults going through a diagnostic process, or this kind of neurodivergence discovery, is the self that you have been projecting. And I think too, with the imposter syndrome, I think that just takes time to let the diagnosis settle in and sink in. Most people who are not autistic, they won't be going, oh, yeah, wow, this really resonates with me. So it's kind of a self selecting population, to be honest, come for assessment.
