The Film Production Value Chain
The way I view the film and TV landscape today is in three kind of to simplify three buckets. On one end you have big studios, Disney Sony's Universal's. These guys are in the business of producing $100 million dollar blockbusters. On another bucket, you have the TV space, which we're in the golden age of right now today. But these similarly don't require much private financing. So that's a perfect segue into my next question. Let's talk through the film production value chain who are the main players and how technology both tech companies and new tech capabilities changed and are continuing to change the film industry.
