I'm Not a Homophobe, but I Have Queerphobia
The therapist in me is trying to make sense of like, okay, this, this little girl didn't necessarily you were not born in a system early on that was homophobic. I mean, clearly by your story, you basically said I had this lived experience, didn't know it was a problem, right? You know, I'm putting that in quotation marks. Tell somehow it was, it was told to you in those adolescent years,. Then of course, the big whoosh of like shame and self-loathing and the internalization of this queerphobia enters in. But it sounds like you were resourced in some really, really important ways because you had your mom.
