Lunar Mission 1: A Global Project

Lunar Mission 1 aims to land a robotic spacecraft on the moon's unexplored south pole by 2024. It's going to drill up to 100 metres below the surface to ask questions about the moon's origin. The crowd-funded mission will also allow supporters to send a human hair to the moon in a blue-peter-style time capsule for around 50 quid. Soon-eilson was at the British Interplanetary Society's Reinventing Space Conference in London, and soon- eilson was there.
