How to Be Kind and Show Kindness in Your Teaching

I used to be tremendously nervous before I walked into a classroom that lasted for years. And it wasn't until I started teaching with kindness and realized how thoroughly I had positioned my students as my antagonist that I realized that was why I was nervous. In order for us to be kind and show kindness in our teaching, we need to be able to be kind to ourselves.
