The Public Square in Los Angeles
The streets in los angeles are not to think of the streets as public space, but essentially as a conduit between private spaces. It's really essential that the public square, for want of a better phrase, is in fact actually the publicsquare, and is accessible to everybody. I don't know thathere are solutions to many of the urban problems that i see, but the only way to even begin to address those problems is by a sense of common space, public space, common shared space.
