In skiing, they're doing micro-cycles. What these entail are usually three-week cycles of easy, moderate, and hard. And I think this is a really cool frontier for running, too. We often talk about things like aerobic build weeks for runners. But my guess is that this frontier that's starting to happen in ski is going to translate more to running.
