How Much Has Cognitive Architecture Been Tested?

The cultural aspect is not by and large something that has been central in a lot of the cognitive architecture research. The idea there is of course that all humans share the same cognitive architecture but differences between cultures are differences at what Newell called the knowledge level. There is nothing a priori that prevents those kind of cultural differences to be modeled and theorized about within the context of cognitive architectures. And we also did some work for example in modeling aging and we mapped some of the processes of aging to the change in some parameters of the architecture.
