Fat People Are Collateral Damage in This Debate

i can't see any of the public health campaigns that we've had, like, whether they consulted fat people. Are not even thinking about, like, what would it be like, is a fat person to countr yes, yes. Like, very basic questions are not being asked. We tell ourselves sort of stories that strike familiar chords and that comfort us about the world and our roll in it. Those stories are very comforting to thin people,. To be like, fat people are unhealthy, and as long as i'm not fat, i don't have to worry ahealth, which is also not true - right?
