Is It Possible to Blind a Paper on First Round?
I've been in the review process and seen good work just unnaturally shut out. I feel like there was a bias towards places that they didn't recognize or I didn't recognize. The one that me, Jesus Christ, this is what originally what double blind review was designed to solve. It turns out it's really hard to blind a paper. And people, I feel like people don't like having their bias is taken away because it makes the job really easy. You get to be able to contextualize what you're doing and it feels more complete. So certainly that is how I feel people behave.
