The Standard Model of Leptons

The standard model comes out of the 70s when people realized that there were connections between the weak force and electromagnetism. And so it was sort of adopted around then. It's like the thing that all physicists can agree on kind of. Mostly it can happen, but there are lots of disagreements about what is the standard model.
